Transcription beta
The transcription service stores the YouTube reference metadata you submit, job status, a one-way hash of the private job key kept in your browser, a keyed network fingerprint used for abuse limits, and the captured audio and results needed to process your request. YouTube is used to retrieve public reference metadata and to play the embedded video; the service does not request or store your YouTube login credentials.
Storage and deletion
Audio captured after you approve browser tab sharing is sent to private storage and removed no later than 24 hours after capture. Completed result files are available for seven days. Minimal job history is removed after 30 days. You can delete a job immediately from its private result page.
Service providers
Vercel hosts the website and private file storage. OpenAI provides the temporary hosted compute environment used to analyze the captured audio and generate draft files. These providers receive only the information needed to operate their part of the service.
